We have four locations, situated in Lethbridge, Taber, Burdett and Medicine Hat. Western Tractor retails and supports the number 1 brand of AG, Turf, and Commercial Equipment in the world - John Deere. We also sell complementing machinery lineups such as MacDon, Unverferth, Brandt Agricultural, Degelman, and STIHL handheld products.

Western Tractor is committed to providing solutions for our customers who supply food to a worldwide marketplace. Southern Alberta is largely considered one of the most progressive and diverse agricultural markets in North America. A network of irrigation districts allow for the production of row and specialty crops. We are also home to “feedlot alley”, the largest livestock area in Canada known for its production of Alberta beef. Forage crops and cereal grains are grown in abundance as our farmers plant and harvest the largest Reservation in Canada.

Western Tractor embraces new technologies evolving within the Agriculture Industry. We are an industry leader in GPS Guidance, Machine Optimization, Telematics, and are now entering into Agronomic Decision Support. These new technologies are designed to add more value to our customer’s operation by enabling them to produce more from the same land mass while managing operational inputs.
